RexCorp Signs On Long-Term Title Sponsorship for Long Island Marathon-
Carrying forward its corporate tradition to improve the quality of life in its communities, RexCorp signed a long-term commitment to be the title sponsor of one of the most popular marathons in the country. RexCorp has served as the title sponsor for three years and is aligned with fitness and health message that the race communicates. The RexCorp Long Island Marathon, Festival of Races features several races to accommodate runners of all levels, with a 5K Race, a 10K Race, a Kidz Fun Run, and Half Marathon and Marathon! The 2008 race had one of the largest groups of participants in its history with over six thousand participants. The RexCorp Long Island Marathon is a great family weekend- one that is packed full of excitement, energy and healthy fun for everyone!

Supporting the Arts … The Giralda Lawn Concert
With a strong history of the leadership in cultural endeavors, RexCorp joins the Arts Council of the Morris Area as it presents its milestone 25th Anniversary Giralda Lawn Concert on the rolling lawns of the Giralda Farms Corporate Park in Madison, NJ. Todd Rechler, President of RexCorp’s NJ Division observes, "We are proud to sponsor this special cultural event that combines picnic grounds informality, a beautiful setting, and a first-class orchestra. As we celebrate the 25th consecutive year of the event, we are pleased that Giralda Farms, has become the place to be on the last Sunday in June for so many people." The Giralda Lawn Concert remains an enduring classic. Giralda offers families and friends a respite from the concerns and distractions of the day - the opportunity to hear a topflight orchestra performing inspiring music live in a beautiful outdoor setting - and at the same time, supporting the valuable work of the Arts Council of the Morris Area.

RexCorp Islanders Inspire … Making A Difference to over 11,000 Children
RexCorp Islanders Inspire program reaches out to the children of under-served communities in our regions in effort to extend the game experience to thousands of children who might never have the opportunity to attend a professional game. RexCorp supports this important initiative … realizing how often as adults, we reflect on the memorable experiences of youth. Over the 2008 season, RexCorp’s support helped bring more than 11,000 children to Nassau Coliseum to enjoy a thrilling game of hockey.

Long Island’s Favorite Christmas Tree at RexCorp Plaza … Light Up Lives In May Ways
A Long Island family tradition, the community’s favorite tree-lighting takes place the first Saturday in December at RexCorp Plaza. The Tree-Lighting ceremony is accompanied by a world-class skating extravaganza with Olympian performers along side up and coming future stars. As the tree is lit with over 50,000 LED lights, RexCorp joins with Island Harvest to help feed the hungry in our communities… with the Light Up A Life program…. each light represents three families being fed. In 2008, over 150,000 families were served through the Island Harvest network.
