MELVILLE,
NEW YORK August 18, 2000) Reckson Associates has announced
six transactions, totaling 30,236 square feet at its Class A two-building,
310,064 square foot North Shore Atrium located in Syosset, bringing
the property's occupancy rate to 96%.
The law firm,
Stewart, Greenblatt, Manning & Baez, has joined the tenant roster
at the 209, 028 square foot 6800 Jericho Turnpike. The firm has
leased 15,411 square feet. When looking to relocate their offices,
the firm looked to Reckson. Mitchell Rechler, Co-Chief Operating
Officer of Reckson Associates, comments, "We welcome Stewart,

the discerning tenant that Reckson seeks to attract and we look

transaction.
Also new to
the North Shore Atrium is American Jawa, LTD., importers of tractors
and motorcycles which has leased 3,414 square feet. Shelly Friedman
of Greiner Maltz Real Estate was the broker in this transaction.
ATT Fulfillment Corp., which fullfills cellular phone orders, has
leased 3,861 square feet, Harris Rousso of Real Estate Strategies,
Ltd. represented the tenant in the lease agreement. Also leasing
is S. C. Textiles, Inc. which has renewed for 631 square feet. The
Blumenfeld Development Group, Ltd. has also renewed their lease
for 6,919 square feet.
The North Shore
Atrium, originally re-developed in 1978, is Reckson's first value-added
conversion to a Class A property. The Atrium has gained both national
attention in the press and an architectural award. Its amenities
