RexCorp Proudly Sponsors…Giralda Lawn Concert

On Sunday, June 29th, the Arts Council of the Morris Area presents its milestone 25th Anniversary Giralda Lawn Concert on the rolling lawns of the Giralda Farms Corporate Park in Madison (the former estate of Geraldine Rockefeller Dodge), Dodge Drive/Rt. 124 (Madison Ave.) in Madison, NJ. Although much time has elapsed and much has changed in the world, the Giralda Lawn Concert remains an enduring classic. Giralda offers families and friends a respite from the concerns and distractions of the day - the opportunity to hear a topflight orchestra performing inspiring music live in a beautiful outdoor setting - and at the same time, supporting the valuable work of the Arts Council of the Morris Area.

With a strong history of the leadership in cultural endeavors, RexCorp joins the list of the Giralda Lawn Concert supporters. As Todd Rechler, President of RexCorp’s NJ Division observes, "We are proud to sponsor this special cultural event that combines picnic grounds informality, a beautiful setting, and a first-class orchestra. As we celebrate the 25th consecutive year of the event, we are pleased that Giralda Farms, has become the place to be on the last Sunday in June for so many people."

At this special milestone event, the Arts Council will present the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, with Jeffrey Grogan conducting a stirring program of 'Americana' favorites - from classical, patriotic and Broadway repertoire. Selections include Gould's American Salute, Dragon's America the Beautiful, Lowden's Armed Forces Salute; Anderson's Home Stretch and Bugler's Holiday; Copland's Down a County Lane and Outdoor Overture and Sousa's The Thunderer March. After intermission, the program continues with Gershwin's George Gershwin in Concert and Embraceable You; Rodgers' Richard Rodgers Waltzes; Arlen's Over the Rainbow; and Herbert's American Fantasia.

The Arts Council of the Morris Area provides cultural enrichment across the community with an extraordinary array of artistic outreach venues from educational programs, recognition of artistic accomplishments and strategic community collaborations and partnerships.

RexCorp owns several trophy office properties within the premier Giralda Farms Corporate Park and is currently planning the development of Four and Six Giralda Farms, a 448,000 square foot Class A property.
